My name is Jerry Morales, who along with my wife, Meredith, own and operate Gerardo's Casita Grill and Cantina in Midland, Texas. Gerardo's has been in existence since 1977. Our company consists of three units and a catering company. Watson Sysco Food Service has been our major food supplier for the last five years and has done a great job in assisting our family restaurants with consistent and quality product. Our Watson Sysco service team has been exceptional in assisting with my kitchen managers as well as myself in our ever demanding catering business. Watson Sysco has provided our restaurants with plate food costs, annual reviews and has helped to develop and create our existing dynamic menu. Finally, I would like to say Gerardo's has had the opportunity to benefit from Watson Sysco’s wonderful in house kitchen and personal chefs. Gerardo's would like to say "Gracias Por Todo" to Sysco Food Service for their commitment in helping us succeed!

We are Michael and Sandra Buckner, owners of Buck's Steaks and BBQ in Sweetwater, Texas. We have been in business in three different locations in Sweetwater for the past 15 years, expanding our business with each location change. SYSCO Food Services, being our exclusive supplier for most of these 15 years, has stood with us as a partner in our success over the years. Their help with annual company reviews and their many programs have benefited us greatly. We have found that their personal service along with their product quality has always been outstanding. Murray's Deli
Murray's Deli in Midland, Texas has been using Watson Sysco Food Services for over 20 years; we find that the services and products offered fit the needs of our business and our customers. As a former Sysco employee for 12 years (Dale) I was aware of Watson Sysco's service and quality before buying Murray's with my partner Serge in 1998. All together Murray's has been using Sysco as our prime vendor since 1986. Although we haven't had the opportunity to use all the extra services, we've found the Business Review portion to be helpful and the "key drop" has been a huge asset for our deliveries. Once again, Serge and I are very pleased with Bob, our Marketing Associate, and we look forward to a long relationship with Watson Sysco.

Shrimp Galley

Larry has been very helpful in the changes that the Shrimp Galley is attempting. He has been instrumental in setting up and participating in new menu items and preparations including new fish offerings, new presentations, new sauce preparations etc. He and Chef Stephanie have been incredibly accessible and helpful in this process. We started an Evening Feature last Thursday - 16 Large Grilled Shrimp smothered in a lemon garlic sauce for $13.99 which has been very well received by our guests. This item was conceived in the Sysco kitchen with some further experimenting at the Galley. It is simple and delicious. Other ideas, which were suggested or formulated in our meeting at the Sysco kitchen, are being readied for introduction.
Larry has always been very professional, accessible and helpful, but has seemed to have grown over the last year into a great asset in the initiation and implementation of new ideas. The key drop delivery is another example which has improved delivery and made my restaurant more efficient.
It is a pleasure to work with Sysco. In my routine dealings with Sysco, Larry is the face of Sysco and is an asset to Sysco and to me.

My name is Terry Nolan and I own and operate the Wharf Restaurant and Tavern in San Angelo, Texas. I've been in business at this location for over twenty years. During this time we have used SYSCO Food Services as our major supplier. I feel confident in the quality of merchandise provided by SYSCO. However, the involvement SYSCO provides for their customers extends beyond expectations with the multitude of programs made available by them. We have taken advantage of several of the I-Care programs and, in addition, we have benefited from the company reviews we undergo annually. Orlando's & CapRock Restaurants

We operate three successful restaurants in Lubbock, Texas. One of them is the oldest table service restaurant in the city, having operated continuously since 1965. Our success comes from our consistency, attention to detail, and a servant’s attitude about our customers. We understand what service means.
We have chosen Sysco as our main supplier because they, more than any other vendor we deal with, share those same values. From our enthusiastic salesperson Renee to the sales team behind her, we’ve never been disappointed in the way that Sysco stands behind what they sell and how they deliver it. Given the large volume of our purchases, amazingly we do not have many issues, but when the inevitable occasional problem arises, the Sysco team is quick to get it resolved to our satisfaction.
We spend our days in the restaurants serving our customers and resolving any complaints in a timely manner. When we turn around and order what we need from our vendors, we appreciate it when we get that same level service. Sysco provides that level of service.
For some of our other vendors, we are not so lucky. In fact, I have invented a word for them—“vendoritis”, or the condition of being so frustrated with your vendor you become ill. I have an erasable board at my office with the names of our current vendors making me ill. Sysco has never been on that board, and I don’t expect they ever will. If you need a cure for “vendoritis”, call Dr. Sysco!
